The composition of hydraulic cylinder


1. Cylinder tube: The cylinder tube urges the piston to move, and the cylinder tube blanks are mostly cold drawn or hot rolled seamless steel tubes.


Quenching and tempering-to ensure the strength of the cylinder, so that it can withstand oil pressure without deformation and damage


Honing or boring and rolling-to ensure the roughness, roundness, cylindricity and straightness of the inner diameter of the cylinder, so that the sealing performance of the piston will not change after long-term movement


Lathe-to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the full length of the cylinder


Drilling-processing the oil outlet hole to ensure the oil inlet and outlet


2. Cylinder head: The cylinder head is installed at both ends of the hydraulic cylinder and forms a tight oil cavity with the cylinder barrel. There are multiple connection methods such as welding, thread, bolt, snap key and tie rod.


3. Piston rod: The piston rod is the primary element of the hydraulic cylinder to transmit force. The piston rod often slides in the guide sleeve, so it is necessary to ensure its strength, roughness, straightness and roundness.


4. Piston: Piston is the primary component that converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy. The effective area directly affects the transmission power and movement speed of the hydraulic cylinder.


5. Guide sleeve: The guide sleeve plays a role of guiding and supporting the piston rod, with high precision, low resistance and good wear resistance. There is a seal inside to ensure the seal of the rod cavity in the cylinder, and a dust ring is installed on the outside to prevent impurities, dust and moisture from being brought to the seal and damage the seal.


6. Cushioning equipment: Pistons and piston rods have great power driven by hydraulic pressure, which may cause mechanical bumps and make a lot of noise. The buffer equipment is chosen to prevent such bumps.
