According to the way of hydraulic cylinder, it can be divided into single-acting hydraulic cylinder and double-acting hydraulic cylinder. The pressure in the single-acting hydraulic cylinder can only be the one-way movement of the piston (or plunger), and the movement in the opposite direction must be realized by external force (spring or self-weight); the double-acting hydraulic cylinder can have hydraulic pressure to realize the movement in two directions.
The seal of the double-acting sleeve hydraulic cylinder adopts high-quality sealing ring, which has the advantages of high pressure resistance, wear resistance and high strength.
In a typical double-acting cylinder, the force generated when the pistons extend is slightly greater than the force of contraction. Although the pressure received on each piston is the same, the force is different because of the different effective area exposed to the hydraulic fluid.
When the hydraulic cylinder moves, the clearance between the components should be reduced. The sealing and packing cover of the hydraulic cylinder is too tight or too loose, and should be adjusted to ensure that the piston rod can be pulled back smoothly without leakage.
