Multi–stage cylinders or telescopic cylinders are composed of a number of cylinders stacked on top of each other. Where the cylinder barrel also acts as a piston rod. Multi stage hydraulic cylinder can have two, three, four, five or even six stages. They are most often used where the cylinder installation length is less than the required stroke. Most telescopic hydraulic cylinders are single acting hydraulic cylinder, but there are also double acting telescopic cylinders available.

1). What kind of material is used in DALLAST multi stage hydraulic cylinder?
Generally, Q345 / ST52 / E355 / E460, etc. these are cold drawn tubes; 27simn /stainless steel 304/316/420, these are all hot-rolled seamless tubes.
DALLAST use 27SiMn material after quenching and tempering treatment, with high tensile strength and high yield strength. Compared with ST52/ST52-3 steel, the tensile strength is increased by 59% and the yield strength is increased by 72%. It can meet the needs.
2). What is the material of the telescopic cylinder support ring?
Generally, it is PTFE-doped copper powder or polyoxymethylene. There are also copper sleeves, nylons, and resins.
3). What kind of material is good for cylinder sealing?
The choice of seal material is related to the working environment, strength, and medium of your equipment. There are a lot of professional things in it. For example, fluorocarbon rubber is used instead of nitrile rubber at high temperatures.
